Real Friends

What started as a one-time project, turned documentary. I spent over a year crafting a series of photographs to show the personal view of my friend’s activities when we get together.  I wanted to use my skill as a photographer to make something we can all remember from our time together. Yet, as quick as a lightning strike, that friendship was over. So, I was left with a catalog of work of better memories.

Using crude computer software and random chance, I dragged these photos through the digital dirt. Carefully Breaking these photos in just a way to change their appearance but remaining to be a working file. Recreating these personal photos as broken memories. As I begin to leave old friends behind and connect with new ones along the way.
